Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Water Treatment Field Technician to join our 2nd shift operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of water treatment systems to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. This is an entry-level position with full training provided, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety who are looking to build a long-term career in the industrial water treatment field.

8AM-4:30
PM Pay:
$20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sludge collection units and safely remove sludge. Perform routine water quality testing and analyze results. Make chemical adjustments as directed to maintain proper system performance. Monitor and maintain chemical feed systems. Track and manage chemical inventories, spare parts, and consumables. Review test results and operational data with the Site Manager. Document daily system performance, test results, and maintenance activities. Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on treatment equipment. Operate forklifts and other site equipment as needed (certification required). Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients in a professional manner. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Proven record of reliability, attendance, and following directions.
Experience & Education:
Previous experience in an industrial setting preferred. Mechanical and technical aptitude required. Forklift experience required (certification/license must be obtained if not current). High school diploma or equivalent required. Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply — comprehensive training will be provided .
Work Environment:
This position operates in an industrial setting with exposure to loud noise, wet or humid conditions, high places, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, extreme heat, and vibration. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required at all times.
