Certified UST Testing Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified UST (Underground Storage Tank) Testing Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform certified UST testing procedures, including leak detection, integrity assessments, and functional tests in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements There will be times when ladders and height are involved. Applicant cannot be afraid of heights. Conduct thorough inspections of underground tanks, piping, and associated components to identify potential issues or defects Collect and analyze data during testing processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of results Document test results meticulously, prepare detailed reports, and maintain comprehensive records for compliance audits Support environmental compliance efforts by ensuring all testing procedures adhere to local, state, and federal regulations Proven hands-on technical background in construction or environmental testing environments Construction site experience with familiarity in general construction practices Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Previous experience conducting quality UST testing within regulated environments Analysis skills necessary to interpret test data accurately and identify potential issues early Certification as a UST Testing Technician from an accredited organization is required; additional certifications in quality control or environmental safety are advantageous.
