Environmental Intern

Join DLZ as an Environmental Intern in Lansing or Waterford, Michigan! DLZ is hiring Environmental Interns to support our teams in Lansing or Waterford, Michigan. This is a hands-on opportunity for students interested in environmental science or environmental engineering to gain real world experience through field and office based environmental work.

What You'll Do:

Assist with environmental field work, site inspections, and samplingSupport soil, groundwater, and surface water investigationsCollect, organize, and document environmental dataAssist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site AssessmentsProvide general field and office support to environmental staffLocation specific experience may include:

Lansing:

Supporting municipal stormwater programs, including MS4 compliance, outfall screening, inspections, and documentation

Waterford:

Supporting public sector environmental projects, including work for the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (MDMVA)

What We're Looking For:
