Position Summary This Research Technician position involves conducting environmental research within a laboratory focused on microbiology and chemistry. The role includes a blend of field collection and laboratory analysis. The successful candidates will support ongoing research projects by processing environmental samples, performing chemical assays, and managing microbial cultures to ensure high-quality data collection. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Management Preferences Experience with environmental data analysis and sequence data processing. Proven track record of effectively communicating research results (e.g., reports, presentations, or publications). Prior experience in aquatic or environmental microbiology/chemistry.
