Job Overview The primary responsibility of Think Environmental LDAR technicians is to detect fugitive emissions from equipment in chemical plants, gas processing plants and refineries per EPA Method 21. Our technicians are trained in LDAR regulatory policies, EPA Method 21 monitoring procedures, component identification and record keeping Key Responsibilities Perform leak detection per EPA Method 21 Work with plant operations and maintenance to ensure successful leak repairs Perform other daily routine tasks as required Requirements Basic Qualifications TWIC card required PRIOR to being considered for position Industrial/plant experience preferred Good verbal and written communications skills Ability to read and speak English Ability to perform work in adverse weather conditions (heat/cold, inclement weather) Ability to stand for long periods of time while carrying up to 25 pounds in a backpack Ability to safely lift up to 60 pounds Ability to work at heights of greater than 200 feet Ability to work overtime as required Valid driver's license Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical Ability to be active in DISA drug testing programs (i.e no previous fails without completion of a return-to-work program) Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life and AD&D Insurance Short Term Disability Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Paid Training Tuition Reimbursement Health & Wellness Reimbursement Salary based on experience•Schedule 10-hour shift, Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm (with the ability to start early, work late and/or work weekends as required) Day shift (ability to work nights or be available for call-outs 24-hours a day as required)
