Houston (R.R.15.0.00) Position Overview The Intern position is for students who are still in school working towards a geology, engineering, or environmental sciences degree. The position will include a wide range of activities within the environmental consulting business designed to cover a broad spectrum of experiences. Specific scheduling and hours requirements will be coordinated with local management.

Position requirements:

Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency. Solid work ethic. Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize. An interest in learning all aspects of the business of consulting. Your own reliable vehicle to drive to project sites.

Essential Duties:

Support the office project work and collaborate with technical staff to service clients and complete projects. Assistance with site investigation, data analysis, and report preparation activities. Assistance with site remediation system operations and maintenance activities. Environmental sampling of soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and groundwater. Health and safety monitoring. Oversight of remediation and construction under close supervision by Roux staff. Roux is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
