We are seeking a seasoned Field Technician who is not only skilled in environmental assessments, clearance testing, and monitoring but is also adept in navigating regulatory landscapes. This position is ideal for a professional who is meticulous, client-oriented, and eager to make a significant impact on our projects throughout the Greater Tacoma Area.What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments, clearance testing, and monitoring at various project sites. Apply regulatory knowledge specifically tailored to Washington State and federal guidelines to ensure full compliance. Manage data entry into Enviroshare with precision and oversee project documentation. Operate sophisticated equipment like XRF analyzers and phase contrast microscopes, contributing to our high standards of safety and accuracy. Engage with project stakeholders, from clients to abatement teams, ensuring all aspects of the project align with A-Tech's quality standards.What You Bring:
Proven field experience in environmental health and safety, with specific skills in using analytical equipment. Strong knowledge base in EPA and OSHA regulations, particularly around hazardous materials like asbestos, lead, and mold.Required certifications:
EPA Asbestos Building Inspector, EPA Asbestos Contractor Supervisor, Washington Lead Sampling, andNIOSH 582
equivalency. The ability to travel extensively across project sites and effectively communicate with diverse teams.What We Offer:
