Job Description

1.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current AR licensure OR graduate of an accredited Medical Technology Program with a Bachelor of Science. 2.
Training and Experience:
Three years' experience in clinical practice. Experience in a variety of clinical specialties desired. 3.
Job Knowledge:
Understanding of the principles of asepsis, epidemiology, microbiology, the development of policy and procedures, patient care practices, group dynamics, and knowledge of adult education principles necessary. Basic understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines of ASHD, CDC, OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies desirable. 4.

A "safety sensitive" position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a "safety sensitive" position.
DESCRIPTION
Responsible for coordinating and compliance regarding infection control practices and surveillance activities and infection control policy and procedures. Position does not provide direct patient care.
