Job Description

Infection Control Wound RN Job Summary:
Norwichtown is seeking a dedicated and skilled Infection Control Wound RN to join our team at our facility in Norwich, Connecticut. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, implementing infection control measures, and promoting a culture of excellence. Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Infection Control:
Develop and implement infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Wound Care:
Assess, treat, and manage wounds in patients, including selecting and applying wound care products, performing debridement, and educating patients on wound care techniques.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut, with valid certification in wound care and infection control.
