Yes Infection Preventionist key responsibilities: Assists in infection prevention and control Conducts infection control risk assessments for a variety of issues including construction and renovation projects, equipment inspection, procedures etc. and educates individuals and groups about the risk, prevention, transmission, and control of infection, disease-specific care, appropriate precautions, and appropriate assessments Assists unit nurses in identifying and placing patients in appropriate transmission - based precautions Performs basic data analysis Minimum qualifications include: 3 years of Clinical Related experience with RN license and Nursing Degree; OR 3 years Microbiology experience with Medical Technologist Certification and Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or Public Health; OR 2 years Infection Control with RN license and Nursing Degree; OR 2 years Epidemiology experience with a Masters Degree in Epidemiology; OR 3 years RRT experience with RRT license and active NBRC Credential RRT with Associates in Respiratory Care CPR Required for Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center BayCare is all about making the most of your life and loving your career.
