Job Description:
Shift needed: Monday - Friday 40 hours/week. 8:00 - 4:30 (flexible start times) with on call system coverage 1-2 times/year Leverages technology for surveillance and reporting, ensuring data integrity and timely submission to applicable regulatory systems. Collaborates with internal teams and external partners including public health officials, healthcare coalitions, and vendors to enhance infection prevention outcomes. Advocates for evidence-based practices, maintaining adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Participates in research and quality improvement initiatives, differentiating between QI and research, and disseminating results through education and consultation. Contributes to product evaluation and cost-effectiveness initiatives, supporting organizational goals through informed decision-making and business case development.
Education:
• Associate [Required] • Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
• health science, healthcare delivery, public health, laboratory science, or related field. Advanced degree/ internship could be considered in lieu of experience.
Work Experience:
• 2+ in clinical setting, infection control or public health. [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Infection Control Certification (CIC) [Preferred]
Pay Range:
