The Quality Infection Control Coordinator is a vital role in preventing, monitoring, and managing infections across Union Health to ensure the safest possible environment for patients, staff, and visitors. effective infection surveillance, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement in infection prevention practices. This role reports to the System Director. Essential & valuable skills gained (in this unit or in this department): Infection surveillance, prevention, and control Data analysis and interpretation of infection trends Collaboration with clinical departments on best practices (Unit / Dept.) Successes and Designation Strengthens patient safety through infection prevention and surveillance. Partners with departments to reduce healthcare-associated infections and improve quality. Supports a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the hospital. (Unit / Dept.) Training & Onboarding Culture Guided onboarding with support from Infection Prevention leadership. Ongoing training in infection control practices and safety protocols. Team-based culture focused on patient safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
