Infection Preventionist Nurse

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Infection Preventionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preventing and controlling infections within our healthcare facility.

Duties:

• Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
• Conduct regular infection control risk assessments
• Monitor compliance with infection prevention protocols
• Investigate and report infections within the facility
• Educate staff on infection control measures
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure best practices are followed

Requirements:

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred
• Experience in public health, infectious disease care, or occupational health
• Strong data management skills for tracking and analyzing infection data
• Knowledge of acute care, hospital settings, microbiology, and medical terminology
