Nursing Full Job Description Responsibilities:
The Clinical Infection Control Practitioner, RN establishes and implements guidelines directed toward the prevention, detection and control of infectious processes and coordinates the employee health program. Provides initial and ongoing orientation and training in infection control/employee health principles and practices to all hospital staff.
Qualifications:
MINIMUME EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
5 years clinical nursing experience preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support certification through AHA required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of hospital infection control and employee health principles and practice. Well-developed oral, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
