Researcher R & D

Key Responsibilities:

Support research and development of new and current product initiatives with guidance from management Lab work execution and data collection on a wide variety of initiatives (i.e., stability studies, new flavor creation, etc.) Execute taste testing on-site and off-site of development products Manage product specification database, updating current and adding new documentation, and recipes. Develop and calculate ingredients and nutrition statements Independently document, record, and report all technical studies Participate on cross-functional teams to support initiatives as they move through the development process Actively engage with franchisees and customers in the field on current and new products Work with manufacturers to support current products and bring new products to market

Must Haves:

Laboratory best practices experience Technical work documentation and record-keeping experience Interest in engaging with franchisees and customers in the field Established history of critical thinking and problem solving Collaborative. Effective team engagement and a desire to build relationships Ability to deliver time-bound results and act with a sense of urgency Strong attention to detail Open to travel 10% of the time, project dependent

REQUIREMENTS B.S.

Food Science or Chemistry.
