In this role, you will drive the creation and refinement of new food products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and consumer appeal. Your expertise will help shape the future of many brands' product portfolios by applying scientific principles to develop exciting, nutritious, tasty, market-ready food solutions. This position offers an energetic environment where your creativity and technical skills will directly impact product success and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead research and development initiatives to create innovative food products aligned with market trends and consumer preferences. Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate ingredient functionality, flavor profiles, texture, shelf life, and nutritional content. Apply knowledge of FDA regulations and other food safety protocols to ensure compliance throughout the development process. Perform and apply different testing and analysis principles to determine safety of products. Collect and analyze data from experiments to identify root causes of issues and implement continuous improvement strategies. Develop detailed documentation including formulation records, testing reports, and validation protocols for new products. Requirements Experience working in a fast pace setting. Familiarity with food, general food handling guidelines, and ability to maintain good hygiene. Ability to learn and problem solve exceptionally, with a strong drive / personal motivation to succeed. Nice to have - Experience with product development from concept through commercialization within the food industry. Excellent data collection skills coupled with scientific research expertise to support innovation initiatives.
Pay:
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
