  • $65,000 per year Job Details
  • Key Responsibilities Develop and refine new food product formulations based on customer specifications and manufacturing capabilities Create bench samples and support iterative product development activities Plan, coordinate, and lead plant trials and first production runs Partner directly with customers regarding product expectations, feedback, and commercialization timelines Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, QA, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams Manage specification documentation and formulation updates Support ingredient change controls and raw material approvals Coordinate shipment of samples, finished goods, and raw materials as needed Provide technical expertise related to food science, ingredients, and manufacturing processes Support multiple manufacturing facilities on product development initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, or related field required 5+ years of food product development or food science experience preferred Strong knowledge of ingredient interactions, formulations, and commercialization processes Experience supporting plant trials and scaling products from bench to production Knowledge of food safety and quality systems HACCP training preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in both office/lab and manufacturing environments Valid driver's license required A bit about us:•A fast-growing food manufacturing organization specializing in innovative private label, co-manufacturing, and foodservice solutions across the U.
