The role As a Beverage Scientist, you will apply food science principles to develop and optimize Vale's matcha beverages, ensuring every product delivers on quality, consistency, and delight. Apply food science and chemistry principles to develop and optimize matcha beverage formulations Design and execute experiments to improve sensory attributes, stability, and shelf life Build and maintain analytical methods for quality control of Vale's products Collaborate with Product Development Specialists and Manufacturing on scaling validated formulas Research and evaluate novel ingredients, processes, and technologies relevant to matcha beverages Maintain detailed laboratory records and documentation in compliance with internal standards Present findings and recommendations to the Product & Innovation leadership team Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the United States Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field 3+ years of food and beverage R D or quality science experience Hands-on experience with analytical methods such as HPLC, titration, or sensory analysis Experience with beverage formulation and understanding of ingredient functionality Compensation $82,000 - $108,000 per year Benefits Company funded ORCA card Medical, dental, and vision benefits Annual bonuses Joining a fun startup in Seattle
