This is a hands‑on, field‑focused role working with specialized equipment, unique heavy machinery, and advanced geotechnical instrumentation in a variety of environments. We're looking for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working outdoors, learning new technical skills, and being part of a high‑performing field team. What You'll Do Equipment Operation Operate CPTu rigs, VST systems, sampling tools, and geophysical instruments Assist Operators and Engineers with daily field tasks and project execution Support mobilization and demobilization of equipment in challenging environments Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation Data Collection & Reporting Conduct in‑situ testing and collect high‑quality field data Compile logs, field notes, and photos for daily reporting Submit data packages to project leads and assist with final field reports Health & Safety Follow all company safety procedures and job‑specific protocols Participate in safety briefings and maintain a strong safety mindset Report incidents, near misses, or hazards immediately to project leadership General Responsibilities Communicate field conditions, equipment needs, and project updates to supervisors Support shop tasks and equipment preparation as needed Adapt to changing project demands and assist in multiple field roles What You Bring Education Enrolled or a graduate of an Engineering or Geology program Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience Previous field experience is an asset but not required Technical Skills Basic mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic aptitude is helpful Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work outdoors, and handle physically demanding tasks Comfortable working long hours in varying weather conditions Soft Skills Strong work ethic and professional communication Ability to work independently and as part of a team Enjoys travel, hands‑on work, and learning new technical skills Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities Why Join Us Medical, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Wellness program Long‑term disability and life insurance Professional development and training Opportunities for travel and career growth Supportive, positive work culture with a focus on safety and teamwork
