Job Description

Mid-Level HydrogeologistLocation:
Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, and NaplesThis position is for a Hydrogeologist based in South Florida to support water resources and groundwater system projects throughout the region. This role focuses on technical execution, data interpretation, and collaboration with senior staff and multidisciplinary project teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupports groundwater projects including brackish groundwater supply, Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR), indirect potable reuse, and Class I Injection Wells.

Conducts groundwater data analysis, interpretation, and field program support under senior technical direction.

Coordinates with internal disciplines and external stakeholders during design development, permitting, and construction.

Prepares technical deliverables such as reports, memoranda, figures, and design documentation.

Assists with developing scopes of work for drilling, sampling, aquifer testing, and geophysical investigations.

Supports project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory interpretation to meet client and project objectives.

Contributes to proposal development and internal knowledge-sharing efforts while adhering to firm quality standards.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.5+ years of related hydrogeology or groundwater experience.

Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure within a defined timeframe.

Experience supporting groundwater investigations, field programs, and technical analysis.

Willingness to travel domestically as project needs require; travel frequency will vary by workload.

Equivalent directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Certification / License RequirementsProfessional Geologist (PG) preferred or actively pursuing licensure.
