Our team is looking for an Environmental Geologist who enjoys hands-on work, solving complex environmental challenges, and seeing data turn into meaningful results. In this role, you'll lead and support Phase I ESAs and Phase II investigations under Louisiana's RECAP program—working across diverse sites to collect, interpret, and translate environmental data into clear, actionable insights. What You'll Be Doing Conduct Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments (RECAP experience a plus) Install and log soil borings and monitoring wells, perform sampling and slug tests Interpret soil and groundwater data and contribute to technical reports Turn field observations into clear, high-quality documentation Partner closely with project teams and communicate findings to regulators and stakeholders Stay organized and keep projects moving forward with accurate, well-managed data What Makes You a Great Fit You enjoy fieldwork and don't mind getting your boots dirty You're detail-oriented and take pride in organized, accurate data collection You can connect field observations to the bigger environmental picture You're a strong communicator who keeps teams informed and projects on track You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable traveling locally Qualifications 5+ years of experience in environmental geology or related field Hands-on experience with Phase II investigations and environmental sampling Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Geology, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or similar Nice to Have
