Job Description

DeWind has been family owned and operated since 1985. DeWind designs, builds, and operates the world's largest Trenchers - weighing up to 1.3 Million lbs. We are a leader in Superfund Sites, Tailing Ponds, Cutoff Walls, Dam & Levee Repair, Landfill Leachate Systems, Gravity Drains, and In-Situ Mixing in Place.
Job Description:
Review projects that are in the early stages of development and design. Communicate with clients about our technology and how it can solve their problems. Help prepare and write the bids and submittals. Review lab reports for gradation, hydrometers, and look over soil borings. When the project is ready to start - coordinate rentals. During the project, do daily reports and organize data and also send to our clients. Compile invoices to bill the project. Host trade shows and presentations. Periodically go on job walks. Collaborate with engineers and clients. Ensure the project is compliant with safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Ideal Experience:
Been involved with the services listed above Out in the field experience Been around soil sampling rigs Exploratory drilling for mining Proficient with Excel Experience with ARIBA or other Third Party bidding platforms Ability to read, understand, and make decisions from geotechnical data and reports Ability to interpret environmental / civil engineering drawings Understanding of soil & rock mechanics Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills Bachelors or Masters in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline Technical writing experience Strong communication skills Feel free to visit our website at www.
