Job Description

A high-growth, employee-owned environmental consulting firm is looking to add a Project Geologist to their team in the San Francisco East Bay area. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to lead meaningful projects, and play a key part in mentoring teams and growing client relationships. You'll be stepping into a group that's scaling quickly, with a strong pipeline of complex site assessment and remediation work across California. What You'll Be Doing Leading Phase I ESA efforts and supporting a wide range of Phase II investigations Managing subsurface investigations including soil, soil gas, groundwater, and vapor intrusion Driving remediation strategies through site closure Overseeing project execution from scoping through completion Mentoring junior staff and helping level up the team Supporting business development and client relationship growth What They're Looking For 3+ years of environmental consulting experience with increasing responsibility Strong background in Phase I/II ESAs and remediation Experience working with DTSC, RWQCB, and local regulatory programs Proven ability to manage projects and guide junior staff Entrepreneurial mindset•someone who takes ownership and runs with it CA PG or PE (or on track to get it) is a big plus 40-hour
