This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical leadership, mentoring teams, and working on large-scale hydrogeologic investigations and groundwater modeling projects. What You'll Do Lead the hydrogeologic technical execution of projects Develop technical approaches for groundwater system characterization Support groundwater and surface water modeling efforts for permitting, remediation, and industrial development projects Collaborate with project managers on project scope, budgets, schedules, and technical strategy Lead and support complex, multi-disciplinary environmental projects Coordinate and execute field characterization programs, including: Aquifer testing Hydrophysical profiling Groundwater investigations Numerical analysis and modeling Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior staff Serve as a technical resource and client advisor on hydrogeologic matters Participate in environmental hearings and technical presentations when needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, Geology, or a related field 10+ years of hydrogeology experience At least 5 years of hands-on field investigation experience Experience leading hydrogeologic investigations and field programs Strong background in groundwater modeling and numerical analysis Proven ability to manage technical aspects of complex projects, including: Budgets Schedules Regulatory requirements Client deliverables Experience supporting feasibility studies and alternatives analyses Ability to lead teams and mentor technical staff Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related field Experience working in deep bedrock environments Previous consulting experience Prior expert witness or environmental hearing testimony experience What Makes This Opportunity Unique Work on complex, high-visibility groundwater projects Hybrid work flexibility Technical leadership opportunities Collaborative, multi-disciplinary project teams Strong career growth potential
