GEOLOG is a world leader in energy services, delivering solutions to Oil, Gas, Geothermal and CCUS operators globally, with a workforce approaching 2,000 and operations in 40+ countries. www.geolog.com The Junior Field Engineer is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and analyzing geological data, samples, and sensor information through a real-time computer-based data acquisition system during drilling operations. This position supports drilling activities by ensuring accurate data monitoring and reporting, contributing to safe and efficient well operations. The candidates should be placed in United States, preferably in Alaska. Working Environment Field assignments are conducted in demanding environments, both physically and mentally. Weather conditions may vary depending on the drilling location and can occasionally be extreme. Personnel typically work 12-hour shifts during their time on the rig. Living quarters are shared and compact, meaning privacy is limited during rotations. Requirements Experience in Mud Logging operations or a Bachelors degree in Geology or a related field. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Strong communication skills, leadership potential, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Adaptable, flexible, and capable of performing in challenging field environments. Availability for national and international travel. Candidates must pass a background check. Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; however, theywill not necessarily bar a candidate's employment.
