Staff Geophysicist

Our staff geophysicists focus on field data acquisition, data analysis, reporting, and innovation—translating field data into clear, actionable results that our clients depend on. Travel at times to project sites including overnight and multi-day trips are required.

We perform:

2-D and 3-D Seismic Refraction and Reflection Basin Scale HSAMT and Gravimetric Evaluations 2-D Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) 1-D Wenner Arrays for site grounding studies Surface Wave Seismic Surface to Downhole Seismic Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Underground Storage Tank (UST) investigations Magnetic (MAG), and electromagnetic (EM 31 and EM61) surveys Utility marking and localization Bathymetric Surveys Drone Photogrammetry With decades of combined field experience and a proven track record solving complex subsurface challenges, Advantage Geophysics delivers site intelligence our clients count on—wherever our projects take us. Position Overview:

As a Staff Geophysicist, you'll be involved in geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation to support environmental, engineering, and exploration projects. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geophysical field surveys and data collection
• Process, analyze, and interpret geophysical data
• Prepare detailed reports and technical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field
• Experience with geophysical methods such as GPR, resistivity, or seismic techniques (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency in data processing software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork
