Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Bathymetric Survey Engineer. Conduct hydrographic and bathymetric surveys for coastal, tunneling, and infrastructure projects. Operate GPS/GNSS, echo sounders, UAVs, total stations, and LIDAR to acquire survey data. Develop 3D models, CAD drawings, and geospatial datasets for marine and land surveying projects. Calculate dredging volumes, sea-fill quantities, and substructure foundations. Prepare as-built documentation, technical maps, and reports in compliance with engineering standards. Collaborate with project managers and civil engineers to integrate bathymetric data into design and construction. Supervise junior technicians and ensure adherence to quality control procedures. Design and technical analysis of all infrastructure and superstructure elements, including site plans, transportation routes, excavation and fill areas, and pipeline systems, with preparation of accurate 3D models.
Special Skills:
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, UAV photogrammetry, and hydrographic surveying instruments (echo sounders, GNSS, UAVs, LIDAR, point cloud software, creating, managing, and manipulating surfaces).
