What You'll Do:
' Develop, calibrate, and maintain hydraulic and hydrologic models for water distribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems using software such as SWMM, EPASWMM, EPANET, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM, WaterCAD/GEMs, SewerCAD/GEMS or MIKE+ software.
' Analyze system performance under existing and future conditions to support master planning, capital improvement planning, and asset management.
' Support municipal utility projects by identifying bottlenecks, overflows, infiltration/inflow (I/I) issues, and flood risk areas through dynamic modeling.
' Prepare clear technical documentation, model summaries, maps, and visualizations to support internal teams and client presentations.
' Assist in field data collection and site visits to support model calibration, including flow monitoring and utility hole inspections.
' Extract and process GIS data, survey files, and utility records to build and update system models.
' Collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate modeling results into design documents, reports, and permit applications.
' Participate in the development of stormwater management plans, sanitary sewer evaluations, and water distribution system assessments.
' Ensure modeling efforts meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements (EPA, FEMA, state DEPs)
' Contribute to QA/QC processes to ensure data integrity, model accuracy, and consistency across deliverables.
