Our Beverly Hills/Los Angeles location is seeking a full-time Clinical Laboratory Scientist. What You'll Do The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs medical laboratory tests, procedures, experiments, and analyses to provide data for evaluation of blood hormone levels and semen analyses. The medical technologist may also conduct related analyses and evaluations in the embryology laboratory by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Receive human blood and/or semen samples from patients. Conduct blood hormone and semen analyses including count mobility, morphology and volume. Enter findings in computer. Perform quality control studies to ensure accuracy of clinical data. Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned instruments and equipment according to established schedule and procedure. Verify instrument functioning by checking and calibrating specific lab instruments and documents data. Record on instrument logs any repairs, replacement, and maintenance needed of equipment. Maintain all data in compliance with CLIA and CAP certification requirements per established RPMG procedures. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical, and administrative staff. Analyze patient samples for hormone levels, semen levels. Review results to assure total accuracy. Prepare for federal and state inspections to maintain licensure for CLA and CAP. Requirements

MUST HAVE CLS

License Review lab results with Laboratory Director, and Medical Director as required. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, nursing, medical, and administrative staff. Attend lab meetings to discuss patient plan of care to ensure that clinical and laboratory staff are informed of patients' status for testing, diagnosis, medical history, consent forms, and medication protocols. Apply infections control procedures to work activities. Apply concepts such as ratios, proportions, percentages, and fractions. Other duties as assigned.
