40.0 Overview Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Scientist II. Ideal candidates should have a Master's degree or 3+ years of experience with applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging. Responsibilities Develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for 2D and 3D biomedical images. Perform quantitative analysis of histology, IHC, IF, and multiplex imaging data. Apply classical image processing and machine learning methods for feature extraction, segmentation, and classification. Including integration of multiple image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, Visiopharm, QuPath). Collaborate with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to define analytical endpoints. Validate image derived biomarkers and ensure analytical rigor. Document workflows and ensure reproducibility of analyses. Support interpretation and visualization of image based data for scientific reports. Help cross lab collaboration through image and algorithm transfer. Requirements 3+ years of related scientific discipline experience or Master's Degree in related scientific discipline or equivalent experience. Proficiency in scientific programming languages (R, Python). Experience applying machine learning techniques in pathology imaging. Knowledge of image analysis tools such as HALO AI, Visiopharm, QuPath, or CellProfiler. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Experience in tumor immunology and histopathology (preferred). Previous industry and biotech experience (preferred).
