The ideal candidate will play a vital role in performing complex laboratory tests, analyzing data, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of laboratory results. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge clinical trials, research projects, and patient diagnostics within a dynamic healthcare environment. The successful applicant will possess strong laboratory management skills, extensive experience with various laboratory techniques, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and physiology. Shift is dayshift Tuesday through Saturday. Duties Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests including PCR, Microbiology, Chemistry and Hematology. Manage laboratory information systems (LIMS) to record, track, and analyze data accurately. Execute RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and other molecular biology techniques for research and diagnostic purposes. Maintain rigorous quality control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols such as aseptic technique and proper specimen handling. Analyze data from experiments and clinical tests to support research studies or patient diagnosis. Assist in laboratory management tasks including inventory control, equipment calibration, and maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist required. Clinical laboratory experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply. Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and data analysis tools. Familiarity with laboratory management practices including inventory control and quality assurance processes. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple assays and experiments simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in high-pressure environments such as hospitals or research laboratories. Knowledge of aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during sample handling.
