Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Ames National Laboratory seeks applications for a Scientist I broadly focused on energy-relevant separation science and related topics, with a particular focus on separations related to the Ames National Laboratory's and the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) missions. The successful candidate will advance Ames Laboratory's capabilities and scientific prominence in separations science as well as develop collaborations across the DOE complex. Candidates must be able to help create strategies that lead to funded efforts related to separation science.
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong publication record that reflects expertise in fundamental and applied separation science Demonstrated experience conceiving and executing collaborative, multi-disciplinary research projects Experience with DOE national laboratories and understanding of DOE scientific priorities
