HJF is seeking a Scientist II to develop and supervise research projects. Investigates the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems. Develops new technologies and protocols. This position will be in support of USU Department of Anesthesiology / Defense & Veterans Consortium for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of qualitative science, healthcare innovation, and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a Scientist with strong qualitative research expertise to support an innovative healthcare research initiative focused on the development of patient-centered clinical support tools (CSTs), including AI-enabled solutions. This role will contribute to literature synthesis, framework development, and qualitative research protocol design aimed at improving patient-friendly communication of spinal radiological reports.
