Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. 07/13/2026 Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Laboratory Scientist experience required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Active ASCP certification required (ASCP-MLS preferred). BLS certification preferred. Experience working independently in a hospital clinical laboratory. Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology/serology, and blood bank testing. Experience with laboratory instrumentation, including Roche Cobas and Sysmex analyzers; familiarity with Epic EMR preferred. Strong understanding of quality control, laboratory safety, and regulatory standards. Ability to work every third weekend, holidays as scheduled, and float within the laboratory department if needed. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex laboratory testing on patient specimens with accuracy and efficiency. Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results in accordance with established policies and procedures. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and instrumentation. Perform quality control, calibration, and routine maintenance to ensure reliable test results. Process specimens and maintain accurate documentation using the electronic medical record system. Adhere to infection control, laboratory safety, and quality assurance standards. Communicate critical values and abnormal findings promptly to the appropriate healthcare providers. Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to support timely patient care. Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain competency across multiple laboratory disciplines while delivering high-quality diagnostic services.

$1,800.00 - $2,180.00 per week
