Located in Elkridge, MD—between Baltimore and Washington, D.C.—we specialize in developing formulation and process technologies for prescription branded and generic drugs. We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern (Analytical Chemistry) to join our team and gain hands-on experience supporting formulation and analytical development activities in a fast-paced R D environment. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing analytical methods (assay, degradation products, dissolution) under supervision Support drug product testing for formulation and process development Perform routine stability testing Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records Assist in preparing specifications and test methods Review analytical data with guidance from senior staff Support multiple projects in a collaborative team environment Help maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications Currently pursuing a BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, or related field Some laboratory experience (academic or internship) with techniques such as HPLC, UV, or dissolution testing preferred Familiarity with laboratory software or data systems is a plus Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows applications) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Eagerness to learn in a regulated pharmaceutical environment Preferred (Not Required) Exposure to pharmaceutical analysis or GMP environments Basic understanding of FDA or ICH guidelines What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical R D Mentorship from experienced scientists Exposure to real-world drug development processes Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects Work Environment As a small and rapidly growing company, Vici Health Sciences offers a collaborative, flexible, and fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for learning and professional growth.
