Hour Night Shift Description:
Performs laboratory procedures according to protocols consistent with Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988. Conducts a variety of chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic and diagnostic laboratory tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorder, bodily dysfunction and evaluation of patient response to treatment. Analyzes and documents test results and reports clinical findings. Performs incidental specimen procurement, preparation and processing. Performs tests in the sections of Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology and Blood Bank. 72hrs per pp, night shift.
Positions Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science or health related field, with lab internship. Must be eligible to take ASCP certification exam, or equivalent. Laboratory experience preferred. Articulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.
