JOB DESCRIPTION
Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT / MLS) to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.Position Summary:
The Medical Technologist (MT) collects, processes, and performs laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocols. The position functions as a key operator and trainer for instrumentation in assigned discipline. The MT functions as charge person as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or field related to area or specialty. American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency, HEW or military certification is required. New hires must attain certification within 12 months of hire. Failure to attain certification will result in demotion or loss of position. Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, electronic medical record, and all laboratory instrumentation used in their area of expertise.Benefits:
