In this role, you will perform a full range of laboratory testing—from routine to complex—helping ensure the safety and quality of plasma-derived therapies that support patients worldwide. Key Responsibilities Perform a full spectrum of laboratory tests with minimal supervision, including routine, complex, and specialty testing Process specimens, conduct testing, and accurately report results in accordance with established procedures Identify and troubleshoot issues that may impact testing accuracy or reporting, escalating as needed Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation and automated equipment Perform and document quality control, calibration, validation, preventive maintenance, and proficiency testing Support Quality Assurance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards Assist with training, competency assessment, and technical guidance for laboratory personnel Develop and revise testing, production, and validation protocols as needed Perform specialized testing such as viral marker testing, blood typing (ABO/Rh), antibody identification, and protein analysis (as trained) Prepare immunogen cell units through glycerolyzation/deglycerolyzation processes where applicable Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field Meets CLIA testing personnel requirements (42 CFR 493.1423) Experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory environment preferred ASCP or equivalent certification preferred (or eligible) Strong technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Schedule & Work Environment 3rd Shift (Night Shift) - flexibility for overtime or additional shifts as needed Fast-paced laboratory environment supporting plasma testing operations Exposure to biological materials and complex laboratory equipment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
