Advance Your Career in a Collaborative, Patient-Focused Lab - MLS/MLT Opportunity (Full-Time | Seward, NE) Memorial Health Care Systems, an award-winning Critical Access Hospital in Seward, Nebraska, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our dedicated team. This full-time, primarily day-shift position offers a balanced schedule with limited on-call responsibilities—just one evening or on-call shift per week, one weekend in seven, and rotating holidays. What You'll Do Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses that inform patient diagnosis and treatment Collect and handle patient specimens using proper techniques and protocols Accurately record and report results through the laboratory information system Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments Support quality assurance and participate in proficiency testing Prepare reagents and maintain laboratory standards Communicate effectively with providers and team members to ensure high-quality patient care What You Bring Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with confidence and accountability
MLS:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related fieldMLT:
