Job Description

Research Associate, CPNH Cornell University is seeking applications for a Research Associate in Global Health Technologies for Nutrition, Infection, Food Safety, Cancer, and Public Health. This is a one-year full-time benefits-eligible position that may be extended for up to four more years, depending on performance, continuation of funding, and continued eligibility to work in the United States. Candidates will be expected to lead portfolio on point of care technologies and have expertise in lateral flow immunoassays, nucleic acid amplification techniques, and other related methods. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work within Cornell Joan Klein Jacobs Center for Precision Nutrition and Health and PORTENT Center on: Manuscripts, reports, abstracts for conferences, grant proposals Data analysis and pipeline development Technology-based solutions for advancing population health To be eligible, candidates must: Have received a PhD in biomedical engineering, medicine, immunology or a related science field. Be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Candidates should demonstrate quantitative/qualitative research skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and with collaborators. A track record of original first-author publications or conference proceedings from doctoral work is desirable.
