This position will support multiple NIH funded projects aimed at improving understanding of the underlying pathophysiology of aging and neurodegeneration and at developing advanced biomarkers of vascular brain health. Our lab conducts clinical and translational research utilizing structural, functional, and physiological magnetic resonance imaging methods, with a particular emphasis on cerebral blood flow imaging derived from arterial spin labeling to assess cerebrovascular integrity and neural activity. We analyze both locally acquired data and data aggregated from large national and international neuroimaging datasets.
