Clinical Correlations in Immunology. Job Summary This position is fully online and will require periodic meetings with Drexel faculty and support staff. Essential Functions Review and periodically update the course syllabus according to Drexel's specifications.
Create a course welcome message (desktop video preferred).
Write or record a weekly overview and conclusion/summary.
Review course outcomes and confirm alignment with topic learning objectives.
Create and update weekly lecture presentations.
Create formative assessments (e.g., self-assessments, practice exercises) and summative assessments (e.g., graded quizzes, assignments, papers) that meet learning objectives. Facilitate the course, which includes: Replying to students' inquiries in the Questions, Problems, Suggestions forum.
Responding to students' needs or questions (via email or telephone) in a timely manner as outlined in the communication policy shown in the syllabus.
Checking in with individual students (via email, virtual meeting, or telephone) at least once per semester.
Grading all coursework within one week of submission and providing meaningful feedback on discussions, written assignments, journals, etc.
Checking grades at the end of weeks 4, 8, and 12 to determine if there are any "at-risk" students; contacting students who are at risk of failing the course and, if needed, contacting their advisors.
Reviewing the mid-semester feedback survey; thanking students for participating and communicating any changes planned.
Posting final course grades in Banner by the due date and time. Required Qualifications Terminal degree in field related, and 5+ years of working in online education.
