Business Development Manager - Mid Atlantic Life Sciences (Protein / Antibody Tools) New York / Pennsylvania / New Jersey • Remote / Home-based the opportunity Our client is a growing life science tools company with an established regional customer base and is expanding its Business Development team across the Mid Atlantic. This is a genuine territory ownership role: you'll work directly with scientists and decision-makers at biotech and pharma companies, manage an existing account portfolio, and drive new business across the region. You'll collaborate closely with both a Regional BD Manager and a local Application Scientist. what you'll be doing Develop and expand relationships with biotech & pharma clients across the Philadelphia / NJ region Engage directly with scientists and decision-makers at Senior Scientist to Director level Understand customer research needs in immunology, oncology, and related therapeutic areas Manage the full BD cycle: lead generation, scientific discussion, follow-up, and internal coordination Attend regional conferences, networking events, and client site visits Maintain organised CRM records and territory reporting what we're looking for Master's degree or above in life sciences, biology, immunology, oncology, or a related discipline Experience in BD, sales, scientific support, applications, or customer-facing research roles Background with protein- or antibody-related products strongly preferred Comfortable engaging US biotech and pharma customers at a scientific level Familiarity with the Philadelphia / NJ biotech ecosystem Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
