- $70,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Google Workspace Project coordination Bachelor's degree Health Science Research & development Full Job Description PathRight Medical is looking for a curious, detail-oriented Product Research Associate to support early-stage medical device research, product opportunity assessment, market research, interview synthesis, reporting, and R D project coordination.
- Conduct pre-market research for new medical device product ideas, including clinical need, market demand, competitor products, pricing, distribution, and commercial opportunity.
- Research medical device product gaps, unmet patient and physician needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Support patient, physician, distributor, and stakeholder interviews, including preparing interview questions, organizing notes, and summarizing key findings.
- Use AI tools responsibly to assist with research, literature review summaries, competitive analysis, interview synthesis, report drafting, presentation preparation, and project organization.
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, source quality, completeness, math errors, unsupported claims, and practical relevance before sharing internally.
- Cross-check important claims, clinical information, market data, competitor details, regulatory references, and pricing assumptions against reliable sources.
- Prepare product opportunity reports, research summaries, market assessments, product gap analyses, and internal presentations for leadership review.
- Help prioritize product ideas based on clinical value, market need, competitive landscape, feasibility, regulatory/commercial risk, and business potential.
- Assist with project management tasks, including timelines, meeting notes, action items, follow-ups, project trackers, and documentation organization.
- Support marketing research projects as needed, including customer segmentation, messaging, positioning, sales enablement research, and competitive research.
- Coordinate with engineering, regulatory, quality, marketing, sales, operations, and leadership teams as projects move from early research into active development.
- Maintain organized research folders, product idea trackers, interview logs, source lists, and report archives.
- Follow company confidentiality expectations and use care when handling patient, physician, product, or business information. Do not enter sensitive patient information, confidential company information, or protected health information into AI tools except as approved by company policy. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, biology, health sciences, business, marketing, product development, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in research, healthcare, medical devices, product development, market research, clinical research, project coordination, or a related role preferred. Strong recent graduates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Comfortable and competent using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, NotebookLM, or similar tools for research, writing, summarization, and report generation.
- Strong judgment when reviewing AI-generated work; able to verify sources, check logic, identify unsupported claims, and improve drafts into professional business reports.
- Strong writing, organization, note-taking, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable conducting or supporting interviews with physicians, patients, and other stakeholders.
- Able to synthesize information from many sources into clear findings, risks, open questions, and recommended next steps.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and project management or task tracking tools.
- Interest in medical devices, healthcare innovation, product development, commercialization, and patient outcomes.
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated products, quality systems, clinical research, regulatory databases, literature reviews, patents, or medical device development is a plus but not required. Work Style and Traits

Pay:
$55,000.00- $70,000.
