Nephron Pharmaceuticals Description:
Job Purpose:
Responsible for coordinating with other departments including Calibration and Maintenance to ensure completion of required activities for implementation and maintenance of Formulation equipment. Coordinate and/or contribute to the completion of projects involving Formulation equipment. Implement new initiatives to improve formulation production equipment. Participate in Dispensing and Formulation activities as needed by the Formulation department. Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proper communication with applicable departments such as Calibration and Maintenance. Operate and navigate software systems including but not limited to: LabVantage, PIMS, FactoryTalk, Trackwise, and EBR. Adherence to Good Documentation Practices and Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations. Administrative responsibilities (Technical writing, reviewing documentation, copying, scanning, and pushing documents for approval, stocking/ordering office supplies). Proper time management, including arriving on time, observing appropriate breaks - including lunches - as well as minimizing overtime unless authorized by management. Maintain all required certifications for the performance of Dispensing and Formulation activities. Adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE. Maintain balances, hoods, tanks, mixers, and other equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with applicable procedures and standards.
Supplemental Functions:
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management or senior leadership. Performs other similar duties as required.
Job Specifications and Qualifications:
Knowledge:
Prior pharmaceutical industry or formulations experience preferred.
Skills:
Continuously demonstrate a strong and efficient performance in all aspects of activities; including but not limited to, showing initiative in completing projects, assist with support tasks without additional prompting, and helping others when available. Strong attention to detail, and math skills. Knowledge of the metric system and applicable NIST standards.
Abilities:
Ability to work individually and as part of a team in order to create and contribute to an environment that values people and encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication. Ability to effectively manage oneself, demonstrate integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve developmental goals. Ability to communicate effectively to team members and superiors. Strong ability for technical writing. Ability and willingness to change direction and focus promptly to meet shifting organizational and business demands Position requires bending, typing, climbing, lifting, reaching, vision, standing, sitting, walking, and hearing. Ability to pass required medical screenings to ensure safe handling of pharmaceutical raw materials used within the manufacturing process.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree highly preferred Working Conditions /
Physical Requirements:
This position requires bending, typing, lifting (up to 20 1bs.), standing, sitting and walking throughout the facility.
