Postdoctoral Research Associate - Endocrinology St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - 4.4 Memphis, TN Job Details Full-time From $72,500 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Relocation assistance Qualifications Research design Research manuscripts Scientific publications Research data analysis Data collection Healthcare data collection Senior level Full Job Description The candidate will work in a mentored capacity as a postdoctoral research fellow, leading and/or assisting in data-driven clinical research involving endocrine complications of childhood cancer. This position does not involve any patient contact.
Goal and plan:
With the guidance of the mentor, the candidate will propose and design a research project. This will involve describing the aims and hypotheses and obtaining approval from data owners. Once approved, the candidate will complete data collection and analysis (in collaboration with CRAs and/or biostastical analysts, as needed) and write a manuscript based in the findings of this project. Additional abstract presentations may be pursued, if applicable. Time-permitting, the candidate will gain exposure to and potentially assist with other research projects, with approval of the mentor. Starting research or joining a research project: The candidate will be starting a research project that will utilize existing datasets already collected and available with relevant approvals at St. Jude.
