We are seeking an experienced contract scientist specializing in chemometric method development and validation using Raman spectroscopy. The successful candidate will support pharmaceutical analysis through the creation, optimization and validation of multivariate models and spectroscopic methods to be used in pharmaceutical manufacturing or QC lab environments. This role requires strong expertise in Raman spectroscopy and
HPLC/UPLC-UV
analysis, chemometric modeling and regulatory expectations for method validation and lifecycle management.
Required Skills:
MS or PhD in Chemometrics, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline. Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in chemometric method development and validation within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry Hands-on expertise with Raman spectroscopy Strong understanding of multivariate statistical analysis and chemometric modeling techniques Experience with pharmaceutical method validation and GMP documentation practices Knowledge of
ICH Q2, PAT
guidance and data integrity
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize and validate chemometric models utilizing Raman spectroscopy data for pharmaceutical applications. Design and execute multivariate analysis for calibration of quantitative methods for intermediate and finished drug products. Perform spectral data collection, conditioning and statistical analysis. Perform orthogonal analysis via validated U/HPLC technique. Author and review technical documentation including: Method development reports Validation protocols and reports SOPs Execute method validation activities in accordance with ICH, USP, FDA and GMP Develop and validate Raman chemometric methods ready for deployment Generate complete validation and technical documentation packages Provide recommendations for model robustness, maintenance and long-term monitoring
