Position Highlights Design and perform laboratory procedures and experiments with supervision including adaptive optics scanning light ophthalmoscopy (AOSLO) imaging and image processing; assist with image analysis. Manage and operate laboratory equipment with supervision, including optical coherence tomography and fundus imaging. Create and maintain timely and accurate research records. Participate in meetings with Principal Investigator and research staff to evaluate and interpret the validity of data. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge

Doctorate degree in a scientific or medical field Physical Requirements Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
