Sewer Collections Operator (CDL required) - Waterbury, CT

As a Collections Operator, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in Waterbury, CT you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the sewer collection system on an assigned shift or emergency basis. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to challenges that may arise in municipal facilities. Primaries duties includes but are not limited to: Operate and maintain equipment including but not limited to backhoe, excavator, CCTV truck, skid steer, and vactor/jetter truck, and equipment used in trenchwork. Clean and clear sewer lines. Adjust manhole covers and replace manhole frames. Inspect, camera, repair, and maintain flowing conditions in the sewer system. Perform operation and maintenance tasks at the landfill South End Disposal Area (SEDA) and pump stations around the City. Complete work orders and field complaint forms. Respond to Call-before-you-dig (CBYD) requests. Respond to sewer emergencies Perform other duties as required.
