Position Summary The Test Technician in the Weathering Lab plays a crucial role in various industries by conducting tests and experiments to assess the environmental impact on the performance of mechanical systems, products, and materials. This role involves running various tests, collecting, and documenting data, ensuring compliance with the testing plan and schematics. Duties and responsibilities Schedules equipment utilization Short-form data gathering and reporting Autonomously performs basic testing Calculate and measure parts to meet tolerance requirements Ability to work as part of a team but also exhibit a high level of autonomy, excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.
Required Education/Experience:
High School Diploma + 0-2 years' experience Associates degree in Science preferred
Necessary Skills:
May require evening and weekend work Working with challenging clients Detail-oriented; ability to solve problems Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), maintains Lab ISO and Process Safety procedures, maintains a clean storage and lab area Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills
